About the event
The Youth Economics Olympiad (YEO) stands as one of the largest international economic competitions, uniting young minds from across the globe.
Round 1 (Online Selection):Similar to NEC, participants first joined an online round. Through carefully structured MSQ on micro and macroeconomics, we identified the most knowledgeable individuals capable of advancing to the finals.
Round 2 (Final, Offline):The finalists then gathered for the offline stage. They worked on an applied business case study, presenting their solutions in front of an esteemed panel of economics and management professionals.This stage emphasized practical application of theory, teamwork, and innovation, preparing participants for real-world challenges in economics and business.
Impact:YEO reached 2,000 participants across 45 cities, spanning over 20 countries including Kazakhstan, Russia, India, Nigeria, Brazil, Egypt, and more. With 134 schools represented, the Olympiad became a true platform for international collaboration and competition in economics.
